TLoS: World at War Ch. 18Dempsey woke up to find himself laying on a wooden floor and looking up at a wooden ceiling. Groaning, he slowly pushed himself up and winced as his head was aching."Oh, my head. Where am I?" Dempsey looked around and saw that he was in a prison. The door entrance was barred off by metal bars. "Finally up?" Dempsey turned his voice to the question and saw that Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen were standing in the same cell. Nikolai was the one that asked the question."That is not good. It means I have to listen to this fool talk." said Richtofen. Dempsey just sighed and walked over to them. Takeo had caught Dempsey as he almost collapsed from the pain."Get off, I can do this myself." grumbled Dempsey and Takeo let go. "Where are we?""If your little brain hasn't figured it out yet, you stupid American, we are in a prison." replied Richtofen."I can see that, Kraut.&
TLoS: World at War Ch. 17The heros continued to trudge along the path, but with some of the injuries, it was a slow process. Zoidius kept scratching at the crystals along his neck."ARGGH! Damn! I can't take it, these are so annoying!" Zoidius then took the crystals off and removed the string they were attached to. He lifted his tail infront of him, and placed the crystals inside a tail brace. The crystals slid in perfectly and Zoidius continued walking."What the hell? If you could put them in your brace, why did you have them around your neck?" asked Dempsey."I thought...it...would make me uhhh look cooler." Zoidius said, looking sheepish."You thought..." Dempsey snickered. Zoidius, now fully embarrassed, turned his head and increased his pace."Wow. I can't believe you would think that. Even I'm not that pathetic." commented Sparx. Zoidius did his best to ignore him. Instead, Sparx just flew right
TLoS: World at War Ch. 16"Comrade Spyro! Are you alright? What happened?" asked Nikolai frantically. Spyro just coughed and slowly pushed himself to his feet. Nikolai and Takeo grabbed him, and pushed up with him."I'm fine. I-" Spyro stopped speaking as he saw the pirate bodies. "What happened?""You fell unconscious and they heard us. We had no choice but to eliminate them." answered Nikolai."I see. Well anyways, I had a vision and through this vision, I re-learned my ice powers.""Re-learned?" Takeo asked. Spyro then explained what he went through and what he saw."I see, so you think this Well of Souls is the source of the troubles?" inquired Takeo."The Chronicler says so and I believe it does.""Well, it looks like we better not waste any time then." said Zoidius."You're right. Wait-Sparx? Sparx. Sparx, where are you?" asked Spyro. The group turned their heads towards each other and realized th
TLoS: World at War Ch. 15Spyro woke up to find himself lying on a cold stone. He slowly pushed himself up and began to shiver."It's cold here..." Spyro walked foward and began to observe his surrondings. He was on a giant platform of stone, floating in a vast void with debris floating out in the distance, with snow falling from the sky. He ran and glided down to a lower platform with a big blue basin surronded by pillars with blue runes on them. Spyro walked up to the basin and looked down into it, seeing nothing."Chronicler? Are you there?" Spyro received no response. "I've done what you asked of me. But now I'm afraid I'm lost." This time, the Chronicler spoke."As long as the spirits of the Ancestors are with you, you are never lost. Calm yourself Spyro, and cool your thoughts." said the Chronicler reassuringly. Spyro stepped onto the basin and was soon surronded by a blue aura. "Do not let you fire control
TLoS: World at War Ch. 14The group managed to dash behind a very large tree the moment the source of the voices became visible. Four pirates walked through the trees across from their hiding place. One large, eight foot, pirate with a saber, was walking with three smaller ones that carried no weapons. "Alright maggots! Time to spread out." ordered the larger pirate. "Don't bother snaring anything smaller than a scurvy wing. Skabb only wants prize fighters this time and double the bounty for the one who captures Arrrborick." The smaller pirates did a small cheer and began to spread out."Ignitus said this place was uninhabited." whispered Spyro. "We must have taken a wrong turn." The group turned around and began to slowly walk the other way, when Spyro all of a sudden fell on his side, unconscious. The sound of Spyro hitting the ground grabbed the attention of the pirates."Aye, it came from over there! Go see what it be."
TLoS: World at War Ch. 13Zoidius winced from the sudden outburst. He had not expected for everyone to jump up and voice their surprise like that. He himself was quite surprised that the humans were alot louder than he anticipated."Forgive us, but Cyril has children?" Takeo finally spoke."Yeah, just me though.""Do the other Guardians have offspring and do they know about you?""Not that I know of and Ignitus knows about me, I don't know about Terrador and Volteer though.""I would've thought that being a Guardian and all that, there would a rule or something that says 'You are forbidden to have children'." said Sparx. He flew in to get a closer look at Zoidius, trying to see any resemblence. Zoidius turned his head to look at Spyro."I thought the same thing. Why wouldn't Cyril say anything though?" asked Spyro. Zoidius just shook his head sadly."The memories are too painful for him and I. Please, let us drop this subject.
TLoS: World at War Ch. 12Zoidius followed the two humans back to where the others were waiting. After a while, Takeo, Richtofen, Spyro and Sparx came into view. Takeo and Richtofen were working with the Wunderwaffe while Richtofen kept telling Takeo to turn one of the converters to the right."Ahh, there you are, vhat has hap-Scheisse!" Richtofen took his gun and fired it at Zoidius. Instead of frying him or making his head explode like Richtofen expected, the black dragon just fell over and started laughing. "Richtofen! Stop! He is on our side!" shouted Nikolai. Richtofen, just kept staring at the dragon who grabbed his sides and struggled like someone was tickling him. After about five minutes, the dragon stood back up and was teary eyed."Whew! Please, don't do that again" said Zoidius, trying his best not to laugh "Vhat is you name?" asked Richtofen, a little angry that his Wunderwaffe was not working like it
TLoS: World at War Ch. 11The six of them kept trudging along the dirt path, completely quiet. The four soldiers had their guns out in their arms, should they need it again if they are attacked. Pretty soon, exhaustion was beginning to set it."Aw man. My feet hurt. Can we take a break?" asked Dempsey. He sat down to the side of the path, grasped his feet and tried to massage them through his boots. "Get up." said Nikolai. "We can't stop now. We could be attacked again should we remain idle.""...attacked again should we remain idle." mimicked Dempsey. "There ain't going to be anymore trouble we can't handle.""Nikolai is right. We need to be ready for anything else along the road" said Spyro. Dempsey just sighed in defeat. He slowly stood back up and started to head to the front, when a loud snap made everyone freeze. There was a second snap and everyone's muscles tensed up, ready to fight any intrude
TLoS: World at War Ch. 10The two beasts leaped at the group, one leaped at Spyro while the other one leaped at Takeo. Takeo reacted quickly and jumped out of the way. He reached for the Arisaka on his back, unslung it and fired one round at the monster. The wolf yelped as the bullet struck its leg. The monster snarled angrily and attempted to leap again, but with the wound it received, it jumped alot slower. This time, Takeo was ready. His Arisaka did not have the bayonet on it, but that didn't stop him from clubbing the beast in the face with the butt of his rifle. The beast fell to the ground, stunned. Takeo ran up to it, put his left foot on its snout, aimed his gun at the head, and fired. The beast just went limp, as the bullet entered its brain. Takeo then got off while muttering, "Too easy..." He heard a shout to see that Spyro was on the ground. &
